What are some good relatively inexpensive date ideas?

By DumbGuy | February 12, 2009

date ideas
Chibi asked:

Me and my boyfriend go dutch most of the time.

We’ve gone to the park, but movies are the most common type of date we have along with just hanging out in the mall. I’ve gotten ideas like picnics and walks on the beach but anyone else have anything more to offer?

Please? =]

Take a walk to a park. Sit on a swing and chat about life for a little. Walk back home and grab some paper and crayons. Draw each other a picture. Then sit on the couch and watch a movie together.. It’s not about flashy dates.. it’s about spending time with each other. Just avoid not doing anything and doing the same thing over and over.

Kite flying at the park with a picnic basket is a good way to spend time together. Also you can check with the local stables in your area and find out if they will allow you to ride free for helping clean the stables and groom the horses. There are a lot of stables offer do that. Check the yellow pages. ‘;-)

Having a laundry night! That was my boyfriend’s and I’s first date. We had time to talk and also have fun with throwing clothes at each other!

here is one….. I had an old BF that once made me a home dinner…. but he made it very fancy….. he took white sheets and sectioned off a piece of his basement and place a table inside the area….. he put candels and flower peddles… the works… then he st me down and brought in a how made meal… he made steaks, mashpotatos, salad, bread and veggies…. then he brought down strawberries for dessert…. it was one date i will never forget … very very unique….
