Mostly we go halves in things, but occasionally one of us will treat the other. But when it comes to bills and the mortgage we split it.

mm i don’t have a boyfriend but my sister has. they normally split or one day she pays and the next her bf does.. he would pay all the time but my sister doesn’t want to be like that.. so she insists..

I usually switch, I’ll pay for movies, or dinner and maybe they will the next time. Or if were going to an amusement park, maybe I’ll cover the tickets and they cover the food or drinks. I think it’s important to keep a balance, so far it’s worked really well in my relationships and I’ve never fought about money.
But I do expect a girl to contribute, I might pay for more here and there because i want to, and I feel the guy should at times. If I make a lot more money than her then I will pick up more, but I always want to feel like a relationship is about two people equally to some extent.

if its expensive like a nice restaurant..then go halves ..or of your buying 2.. like movie tickets..go halves.. if its something cheap like fast food or ice cream.. or similar.. then one buys one time and the other buys next time.. it all works out.. just have the money to buy the things you want when out.. if you have extra.. offer to buy.. if they offer.. remember that and buy next time.. don’t keep a running tally or anything.. just don’t be a person that is always taking or a door mat… good luck..
